Hello, sweet and lovely friends!
Today I am happy to join my Power Poppy teammates in sharing the newest "Digis on the 5s" digital release, Season's Seatings. Here's what Marcella shares about this new release.
In South Florida we do not see many real carved pumpkins, and if we do, they are inside our air-conditioned houses. It's far too hot for pumpkins to survive very long. So to have a pumpkin filled with fall flowers is a delight for me!
Using Microsoft Word, I arranged the flower-filled pumpkin next to the Scripture verse for a wide card, printed it on X-Press It Blending Card, and started coloring. I found this vibrant fall plaid designer paper and kept it simple with a wonky-stitched die, thin mat of Tangerine Tango, and it was done. I dug through all my embellishments but finally decided to keep it simple — flat and easy to mail. ;)
I truly enjoyed making this card, and I read on in Ecclesiastes where it tells us that there is nothing better for us to do than to be joyful and to do good as long as we live. This is God's gift to us. As I considered the enjoyment I experienced in making this card, I am reminded that pleasure is fleeting and that true and lasting joy is found only in Jesus Christ. May I glorify God in all I do.

"We love any scene that exudes cozy fall goodness — a second-hand chair in the garden? Of course! It's the ideal perch for a rustic pumpkin bouquet. You may recognize this image from our popular clear stamp set 'So Grateful.' What's especially neat about this digital download version is that you get two focal images, one of the large chair vignette and a second large image of the pumpkin bouquet by itself featuring dahlias, berries, and black-eyed Susans. The verse from Ecclesiastes, 'He has made everything beautiful in its time,' is the perfect accompaniment, and you'll also get a shorter 'Hello, Beauty' sentiment. A coloring feast awaits!"

Hi Cheryl! I think you must have enjoyed coloring this lovely image. I think the name, Season’s Seatings, is so funny! Your coloring is magnificent and it goes perfectly with that plaid paper. I think you were right to leave it alone without embellishment. Thanks for sharing your talent and encouragements.
Oh, Cheryl, so beautiful with all the glory of fall! It's nice that fall sports such warm colors just when the weather starts to chill, and then spring has cool colors when the weather warms. I absolutely love this! I have the stamp set, but these digis Marcy is releasing are irresistible. Color me smitten with your take on it!
You created a wonderful fall feeling and a great sentiment with it. I love the verse from Ecclesiastes too. How true it is. Your coloring is perfect and there are no other needs on this card.
Cheryl, your magnificent coloring truly brings this lovely image to life, what a gorgeous card, with all the amazing shades of Autumn front and center.
The lovely pattern paper frames your creation beautifully.
Thank you for sharing.

Oh what a gorgeous card Cheryl. Love the simplicity of the design that let's the beautifully coloured image take the eye, and the, wonderful paper you have framed it with.

Cheryl, this is absolutely beautiful! I just shopped for fall at Power Poppy yesterday. Guess I'll have to shop again - love this set!!! Thanks for sharing, and for inspiring. I love this verse. Hugs...
And, you are a precious gift to all of us, sweet friend. So thankful for you! Oh, my, this is just beautiful! I remember living in FL all those years and missing the change of seasons SO much. I am so grateful to be living in the mountains where we get the full spectrum of all four seasons. It is so nice, after not having that for all those years. I love the scene of the old chair with the pumpkin on it. Fall is my favorite season. It is so heartwarming! God bless you and keep you! So wonderful to visit with you today. :)
Oh Cheryl! This is simply gorgeous! I absolutely LOVE fall! And this new digi is one I'd love to have! I'd better get myself over to Power Poppy and take a look *tehe*

When I saw this at SCS I made a note to check it out on your blog. I really love how you incorporated the image with the wonky stitches and the plaid, they work together so wonderfully Cheryl. And, of course your colouring is always stellar ... beautifully done.
