This tree also reminds me of Psalm 1, where it speaks of delighting in God's law and meditating on it day and night. May we bear the fruit of the Spirit dwelling on and appropriating His Word in our hearts and lives – love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
He is like a tree planted by streams of water
that yield its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.
Psalm 1:3

Love, love, love this! Did I mention I love this? :) Your card is so beautiful, my friend, and the words that go along with it are simply precious.
I love how you use your cards to teach a sweet yet genuine Bible lesson - I always enjoy my visits here, sweet Cheryl! Hugs to you!
What a beautiful fall stamp and so beautifully colored, Cheryl! Sometimes it's hard to leave off all the extras, but it feels good to be able to just slip it in an envelope and mail it. An image so complete doesn't need anything to make it more beautiful. So true, the sentiment, too. I was at a house the other day that was built in the '50s, but it had a huge, magnificent maple tree in the front yard that must have been planted there years before the house was built. I stood there for the longest time reflecting on the lives that must have been lived around that tree and marvelling at what a blessing the planter gave the generations that followed. I was very moved.
LOVE this image and you did an amazing job of coloring it !!! Thanks for all the sweet comments you leave on my cards when I submit them. Hugs Gwen
Love this beautifully colored tree, Cheryl!! Your card is simple, but has so much detail, love how the sentiment fits so well in the curve of this tree!! Hugs!!
Such a pretty card, Cheryl! I love the CAS design! Thanks for your comment on my blog. I think I finally got the rest of the Splitcoast gallery updated today. :)
Love the simplicity of this beautifully colored image! I do miss the piercing though......! Always love your devotional thoughts and encouragement! Big hug to enjoy all day!
This is beautiful Cheryl. I love this image and it is on my wish list. Wonderful post too, when I was a child every one had fruit trees in their yards, apple trees, pear, peach, and nut trees. We never went hungry. Now, there all gone
What wonderful coloring Cheryl! Your CAS design is perfect for this lovely image. We live on an old homestead that's been in the family just short of 100 years. There are majestic old oaks and pecan orchards that have been here forever. If they could talk, what tales they would tell of all the lives that have been lived out here. Thank you for your wonderful devotional. May we all be producing more fruit of the spirit. This world needs it so. Hugs!
Such a cute set and beautifully coloured Cheryl! We harvested so many apples from our tree this year I don’t know what to do with them all. Such a beautiful picture of what being connected to Jesus is about!
This is absolutely gorgeous my friend!!! I do love the CAS approach to this image and I always love reading your devotional thoughts as well! You my friend are definitely a fruit bearer!!!
hugs and love,
Grace
