Happy Sixth Anniversary to Our Daily Bread Designs

Today ODBD is celebrating its sixth anniversary with a release of stamps including quotes, sentiments, and Scripture verses selected by the Bread Basket (ODBD team)! In honor of this release and anniversary, each team member is using their selection on their hop projects. You will totally enjoy the blog hop and see some amazing creations the team has designed!

Three winners will be chosen randomly from the comments left on the designers' blogs to receive a $25 gift certificate to the ODBD store to be used toward the purchase of ODBD stamps! One random commenter will be randomly chosen to win the entire 2014 Anniversary Bundle! You have until March 18, 2014, at 9 p.m. EDT, to leave your comments, and the winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on March 19. So be sure to check back to see whether you won! Enjoy the blog hop!

My first card uses Scripture Collection 13 with my favorite verse (2 Corinthians 1:3).

Our Daily Bread Designs, ODBD Anniversary, Scripture Collection 13, Crocus, ODBD Fancy Foliage Dies, ODBD Beautiful Borders Dies, CherylQuilts, Designed by Cheryl Scrivens

My second card uses another verse from Scripture Collection 13.

Our Daily Bread Designs, ODBD Anniversary, Scripture Collection 13, CherylQuilts, Designed by Cheryl Scrivens

The verse I chose (2 Corinthians 1:3) is special to me because it's one verse of a passage that was given to me by my pastor after my dad died, and it gave me great comfort and is one I share with others who have suffered a loss.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For jus as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.
2 Corinthians 1:3-5

Two absolutely lovely cards, Cheryl! Wonderful choice of designer papers (sigh) and the first is dressed up so beautifully with the flowers, leaves, vines, and border. I was thinking how the verse on the second would be perfect for a sympathy card, and I see you mention that's how it came to you in the first place. The simplicity of the design will make it easy to pop in the mail when the need arises. Congrats to ODBD on their 6th!
