And behold, the star that they had seen when it rose
went before them until it came to rest
over the place where the child [Jesus] was.
When they saw the star,
they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy.
And going into the house they saw the child
with Mary his mother,
and they fell down and worshiped Him.
Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts,
gold, and frankincense and myrrh.
Matthew 2:9-11

Such an elegant card, Cheryl!! I agree that this is my favorite paper also and you've added so many wonderful accents to it, beautiful!!
This is wonderful, Cheryl! I love the way you used the background paper. Thanks for saving me some time figuring out what color markers to use to match the paper! :) Slowly but surely adding to my Copic collection. The sequins and star is perfect.
So beautiful Cheryl!! I love the way you used the star with that Bethlehem paper!!! So perfect my friend and I love the sentiment and die that you used for it too...So elegant, so festive and so true meaning of Christmas! Delightful card!

Ah, a wonderful verse and a great, nay, very beautiful card Cheryl, Shaz in oz.x.
Oh this is sooo pretty Cheryl! I love this paper... it's my fave in the new pack! Love the layout and beautiful bow, and of course I always love reading your thoughts on God's Word! What a indescribable gift was given!!!
Hope all is well with you dear friend! I
hugs,

Cheryl, this card is so beautiful! You matched the colors perfectly with the Copics, the bow is so pretty and I can't believe you fussy cut around the sentiment . . . If you hadn't said you did, I would have thought it was die cut . . . your cutting is amazing!
Gosh, the paper is beautiful and it couldn't be more perfect with the star and the story of the birth of Christ. You achieved an amazing match with with your Copics on the mat and the ribbon. I colored taffeta ribbon with a Copic marker once and it made it stiff, but I haven't tried it with organdy. Yes, what would we do without our Copics? Flowers, brads, buttons, rhinestones -- you can color everything with them! Thank you for sharing this gorgeous card today, Cheryl!
Such a stunning way to use this beautiful paper! It's simple yet elegant with the bow, sequins and star! I love it!
The card is enchanting, my friend :) The soft colors are lovely and the words never grow old.
Love and hugs to you!
Oh wow! That paper is so beautiful. What a perfect scene to back that precious sentiment. You've used my most favorite teal color. The star die cut is so crisp in the white with the detailing. You can just feel the peace radiating from this card. So lovely Cheryl. Hugs!
This is just gorgeous - the teal and white are so elegant, and a lovely setting for the verse you selected. I appreciate seeing cards that are reminders of the meaning of Christmas.
My sister & I were admiring this card, but didn't get a chance then to leave you a comment. I'm back to say how much I love this card, Cheryl--gorgeous paper (onto my wishlist!) & beautifully constructed!
