Count it all joy, my brothers [and sisters],
when you meet trials of various kinds,
for you know that testing of your faith
produces steadfastness.
And let steadfastness have its full effect,
that you may be perfect and complete,
lacking in nothing.
James 1:2-4

Good morning Cheryl;
Your card is just stunning. Love the roses and heart. Wonderful post this morning too, all so true. It reminds me of a song "Be grateful" a little rain mixed with God's sunshine..
hugs :)
Thanks for your inspirational thoughts today Cheryl, it's important to rejoice right where we are, although that may seem hard sometimes! Love your roses, they pop right out of the card! And I love how you've combined them with the heart die, it makes for the perfect b day card!!
Such a pretty card Cheryl!!! Love your beautiful roses!!!They go perfectly with the heart dies!! What a lovely devotional this morning as well! Sometimes we forget as Christians that we will suffer in this life and He uses our suffering for our good and as a testimony when people see how we still trust our God no matter what life throws at us! He brings us through the storms!!
Cheryl, you are so precious to encourage me on SCS! Thank you! Your cards are so beautiful and so are your words..may God mightily bless you!
Cheryl your card is just gorgeous! Took my breath away!!! I love your roses and the lacy insert of the heart really looks like real lace in that ecru color! Such a soft and pleasing color combo... and what a beautiful post as well! So true my friend!!!
hugs,
Grace
Cheryl, your card is absolutely stunning! I love the fussy cutting, it is a lot of work, but so worth it on the finished creation . . . . and those dies are so beautiful, so perfect for this design. A beautiful, and oh so true, message in your post, thank you so much for sharing your gift! Hugs!!!
Yes , one of my favorite verses and I have found myself crying jumping up and down saying , 'joy one, joy two". Your roses are magnificent as is the whole card. We appreciate that you have taken time to share with us at Word Art Wednesday this week.

I love roses. I have dozens of bushes of knock out roses and yes the thorns are brutal but their beauty shines through. Your write up is beautiful. You have such a gift.
