Joy to the World!

CherylQuilts, North Coast Creations, Joy, Christmas, F4A199

Today's Free For All challenge on Splitcoast is to make a card with the theme of a Christmas carol.  I've had this image inked up and started and finally found the right time to finish it…so glad!  This image is from North Coast Creations, which is a sister company to Our Daily Bread Designs.  I love the country feel to it and decided to keep it fairly simple with lots of white and some red to highlight the image.

I am so behind in my cards this year.  But "Joy To The World" is such a great reminder of why we celebrate Christmas.  Jesus is our True Joy, and we celebrate His birth with joy in our hearts.

Joy to the world, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King.
Let every heart prepare Him room.
And heaven and nature sing.
And heaven and nature sing.
And heaven, and heaven and nature sing.

So were you singing along with me?  I just love that carol and praise God for sending His Son to earth…for us!  That's love!

For His glory,
